These particulate filters are both flame and water resistant. The D3091 particulate filter may be used in a variety of applications such as grinding, sanding and welding. Common uses of D3091 particulate filters include filtering solids such as those from processing minerals, coal, iron ore, cotton, flour, and certain other substances. It may also be used for liquid or oil based particles from sprays that do not also emit harmful vapors and for metal fumes produced from welding, brazing, cutting and other operations involving heating of metals. The D3091 may be used to help reduce exposure to radioactive particulate materials such as uranium and plutonium. It can also be used for asbestos. The D3091 is not for use in environments that are immediately dangerous to life or health (IDLH), sandblasting, or in environments that contain hazardous levels of organic vapors and/or acid gases.Change your 3M Secure Click Particulate Filters P100 D3091 if they become dirty, damaged, or difficult to breathe through.
